About us

Mbizi Safari is a FSC® certified company that sells exclusive hardwood from Zambias lush forests. What makes us unique is also owning the farm in Zambia from where we source all the wood. This ensures us that all practices is correctly followed and always being able to delivery high quality products.  

We specialise in supplying companies with high-quality woods used in everything from flooring, decking, fine furniture and exclusive interior details.

Sustainable harvesting 

At Mbizi Safaris wood department, sustainability is at the core of our mission and therefore all harvesting is performed in accordance with the guidelines of FSC®. We are dedicated to preserving the natural beauty and biodiversity of Zambia’s forests while providing the highest quality products for our clients. In our quest to interfere as little as possible with the natural ecosystem, we have incorporated a well tailored selective harvesting plan. At Mbizi farm, every tree harvested is selected manually and given a unique identifying number so that it can be tracked throughout the entire process. Only a limited number of trees are harvested, and each area is selectively reharvested only after 30 years.
